So my husband, anAndroid developer, and I partnered up to design and develop e.Beat - a blood pressure diary helper - which become one of our favorite health tech projects.
To present why this issue is so common, let's say that Hypertension is a very common condition in which prolonged high blood pressure against the artery walls can cause health problems.
One can have high blood pressure for a long time without any symptoms which makes it hard to diagnose and leads to an elevated risk of heart attack and stroke.
From a design perspective, this project needed branding which included a style guide, logo design, and overall app feeling. The UI part of the design was made afterward. Huge effort was put into creating a design for an especially sensitive group of people.
